The GED (General Educational Development) test is a group of 4 subject tests which, when passed, certify that the test taker has American or Canadian high school-level academic skills. It is accepted by virtually all U.S. colleges and employers.

Yes. Ross Tax Academy is an authorized testing site recognized by Pearson VUE for GED testing and ETS for HiSET testing, in compliance with Texas Education Agency requirements.
Yes! All exams are administered online through the OnVUE proctoring platform. You need a computer with a webcam, microphone, and stable internet connection.
You can retake individual subjects. There is a waiting period of 60 days between retakes for GED and 30 days for HiSET.
GED and HiSET scores do not expire. Once you pass all required subjects, your high school equivalency credential is permanent.
Yes. Both the GED and HiSET are accepted by virtually all U.S. colleges, universities, and employers as equivalent to a high school diploma.
